As we launch our new website, we are celebrating our 20th year in business with a showroom. Our company is family owned and operated, including two generations of management. Richard G. Brausch (“Rich”) is the founder of Three Village Setauket Kitchen & Bath, Inc., and Richard T. Brausch (“Rick”), his son, has been with him from the beginning. Rich began over three decades ago by designing and building cabinets out of his shop, and soon after decided to open a store selling custom built cabinetry.
Rich’s wife, Elaine, has been in the showroom along side Rich selling our products since the beginning, as well as performing various marketing and bookkeeping duties. Elaine, also a designer, has a keen sense of style, and has been guiding clients with the “skins” of their kitchen or bath renovation through the years, which includes cabinet styles, finishes, countertop surface materials and color selections for everything from flooring to hardware, while Rich designs the “bones,” meaning the architectural layout of the space, ensuring that everything will function well and blend with the client’s style.
Skills and talents have been passed on from one generation to the next, and Rick along with his wife, Heidi, has taken on more responsibilities in both business management and design. Rick’s natural talents, many years of installation and design experience, and interior design schooling provide a unique advantage over other designers who have not actually worked in the field installing or spent time in school studying the intricacies of design. Heidi has a business degree in accounting as well as experience in the corporate world. She has been able to apply this background to the areas of accounting and marketing, as well as provide additional support for product ordering and designing, working in collaboration with Rick and his parents. Each member of our team has different talents and strengths, and each has a unique vision for beauty and design. We will work collectively to manage your project from the big picture to the minor details. This “team effort” brings the variety of talents and expertise together for the benefit of your project.

In addition to the variety of skills and talents each member of our team possesses, a major difference between our company and others is
that we accomplish each project “in house” with our own installation crews under our employ. We have the ability to better control each project and the project timing, because we can schedule our crew according to our needs, not the subcontractors schedule. The people who we will send to work in your home are professionally trained and reputable men with integrity. We remain in close communication with them throughout the week to ensure that each job is running smoothly and according to plan. Most of our crew members have been
with us for many years.

As a family owned and operated business, we make ourselves available to you not only during the planning and installation process, but also after your project is complete

We look forward to serving you. Many of our clients are reference based and we have worked with several clients who come back to us for different projects in their home. Our business has been primarily generated from “word of mouth” marketing, which further attests to our reputation within the community. We will make every effort to plan carefully and anticipate any problems before they arise, however, if we do encounter any problems, we will work hard to resolve them and bring you through to a joyous and satisfying project completion.
